When you feel your life aint worth living Youve got to stand up and Take a look around you then a look way up to the sky. And as we all play parts of tomorrow, Some ways will work and other ways we'll play. When life is hard, you have to change. -Blind Melon

Vickie's son Josh with his Gram, the Matriarch of the family

Check out Josh's shirt, I told him it probably wasn't the best choice for a thanksgiving feast, he got a laugh out of it.

Pics of Vickie's Family before we all said what we were thankful for.

The setting before.....

Vickie's mom set the table and on each plate there was a green or red bag with a candy cane attached to it with our names written on the outside... on the inside were x-mas ornaments, it was such a sweet gesture. Mark and I both received ice skaters he got a boy ice skater and I got a girl one.

The Great Escape Artist is BACK!!!!!!!!!!!

Marley is on his own trip and is always escaping, this time for almost two days, we both searched and put up signs all over and tonight just about an hour ago Mark walked out to our balcony to find him wandering around. It's almost like having a child run away or be missing it's so darn hard, you just do what you can to find them and sit back and worry. To all those parents out there of for real children, I give you some serious props especially you Mom and JoJo. cuz Markie and I were pretty crazy kids and I know you're worried and still to this day worry about us, it's tough. It's life, life is what it is, right? All I know is my little buddy is back and the next time he escapes I am going to shave his tail hairs..... LOL

Two losts souls swimming in a fish bowl year after year

Hola all...
This is a very special pic. Markie and I had a pretty rough weekend, Markie was so sick and couldn't move enough to even drink any fluids, so, I said , f. that you are going to Sharp's Hospital and getting checked out. I had the flu and got over it within less than a week and his was a bit different, his muscles, joints and body were in so much pain he could not breathe, NOT COOL!!!!!!!!!, After a 6hr. hospital stay they found that he had a viral infection, and now is taking medication to make my best boy-friend all better. So we came home after the hospital, and he was all drugged up, he cracked me up from the words he was spewing from his mouth. He is feeling a lot better now. I couldn't take seeing my best bud in pain anymore.
Anywho we got home after spending 5-6 hours in the hospital to a note saying that Marley, his, our kitty was at the pound. So, somehow he got out. Not happy about that. I called their emergency hotline to let them know he does not deal with stress well due to his heart murmur, so, we were able to get him back today instead of Tuesday when they re-opened. The pic above is him being thankful to be home and with PaPa, Markie.

peace and love.

Play'n in the band!

Here's a pic of Steve playing a song he made himself, it was absoulutly beautiful. Steve is our security guard and works here for the apartments I live in from 10-3Am, prior to his rounds he stops by. He, also has been a wonderful friend and is the lead guitarist for a band called Fire Brings Rest. He is on my myspace, if you want to check out his music.
Peace and love.

Lesson Time

To the left is David, my co-worker and great friend, to the right is Steve from Fire Brings Rest, he is teaching him the E cord in this pic. David really want to learn how to play, he finds it relaxing and loves the sounds that an acoustic guitar brings.

Just a note

If you double click on any of the pics it enlarges them..

This Rock is Mine

So, I decided after coming home, being SD, I really don't want to move to another country, Mark especially and I can't go through what I went through less than a year ago when I moved here to SD, I love my bud, Markie, I love Marley and Sierra and they love each other and I can't split them up nor can I split up Mark and my's friendship by 5 hours so I will visit and sell but my home right now is here in SD. San Felipe, Mexico is a great investment for anyone whom has 20K or more but until I have that I can not invest, I tell you it is going to be the next CABO, and I am at the ground floor, I am hoping everything works out, I have been working and networking real diligently on this and I hope to get some return. But, as far as moving I am not ready, I have only been here in SD for less than a year after moving from CT and I can't go through what I went through again by myself. And that is that. Peace and love to all reading this.

Who loves boats????

I think Markie does!

Bebe's sleeping

Yeah, I kept him up late and we had a very early morning meeting, breakfast, and bebe needed a nap. Doesn't he look so cute when he is sleeping :-)

Mi Casa

This is owned by Golden Coast Properties which we are working with, it is a 4 family condo that was completely empty, so we had our choice of which one we wanted and keys to all of them, we decided upon the upper left, it was so relaxing and beautiful!

Yes sir, there is camping, right on the ocean.

Two Hotties

Just look at us, who's better looking than us?

Katrina and David

My two greatest friends out here in San Diego, I love you two, no matter what!!

My co-workers

Salud!!! In the bag on his arm is a present for his little baby boy, great dad and husband!!!!!!

Katrina and Markie

Max'n and relaxing Tecate style!

Hey Guys

I told them I would publish this so they could have the pic, so here's a pic of some locals during the Shrimp Fest, real nice guys!!!!!!!!

My new little friend

I met some folks from Palm Springs and he was my favorite. Little cutie-pie!!!!

View from our front deck

We were able to get an unfurnished condo from Thursday to Monday for free because of my connections :-) which was really nice, we brought air mattresses, cards, camping type gear and the laptop for music, it really worked out well. The marina is located just down the road where you see the orange building which was pretty darn cool.

Watch OUT!

The speed limit is 40km I am totally surpassing it here, omg!

Quads, Quads, and More Quads

It's legal to drive them right on the roads into the desert, on the beach into the mountains, they charge about $20 an hour of use, but, I lucked out and met this really cool guy named Jose that took me for a ride that was a blast for free, my favorite word!

Salud to Conchita's

THE best Pina Colada's I have ever had, they cut the pineapple open right there in front of you and hollow it out and fill it with their special mix.

Low Tide at Desert Lakes

That's me on my way out for a swim in the Sea of Cortez, it was only about a mile to get to the water but it was so beautiful and warm!

Desert Lakes, San Felipe, Mexico

This is my favorite place down there, it is so damn peaceful, it's unbelievable!

Markie has been there and done that

My new Baby

Yeah, finally got a car no more dangerous bike rides, just canyon bike rides, so this is my new, used 1990 VW Cabriolet, holla back!!!!!!!!!!

Palomar Artesian Springs

How much better does it get, Palomar Spring water right from the tap, I only wished I had more containers to fill up, oh well just means another trip up there, another great memory, another wonderful quest to the mountains.

Palomar Mountain Observatory

This is the largest telescope in the world, inside there is a 200 inch telescope which I couldn't get a good enough pic of to post, so I encourage everyone reading this to come see with your own eyes. There are also 2 other telescopes on the location not open to the public that are slightly smaller. A bit of history, the telescope was first built in the mid 20's. As a result of the foresight and work of astronomer George Ellery Hale, in 1928 the International Education Board (one of Rockefeller Foundations) awarded a grant to Calteck for the construction of this 200-inch telescope....... AMAZING, to say the least!

Markie saying hello to telescope.

It's been 18 years since my last visit here, with my mom, during the time in which my grandparents lived here in Diego. Not much has changed but my new awe of an old visit.
The first time my mom and I tried to get to this peak was when I was 13ish and the roads were so bad we had to turn back. So, when we came out the next time at the tender age (LOL) of 15 we made it up here and it's such a fantastic place.

Welcome to Palomar Observatory
